Chi Running is a salvation

January 24th, 2011

My story is about mental illness and injury. Chi Running has helped me with processing cognitive thoughts and learning to listen to my body and mind. It has helped me bring the two parts together that were on different ends of the spectrum. I have endured years of depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Chi Running is my salvation. I learned of it from my brother and it clears my head, gives me freedom, connects my head to my body, and helps make me feel so good. Two herniated discs from car accidents and depression kept me from exercise. Your book, along with Born to Run, has helped to bring me out of the darkness.
