It’s fair to say that I’m passionate about running. I have been running for recreation and occasion competition since I was a teenager and it is a part of my everyday life. As a mum with two little children its even more important for me to find the time to go out and enjoy a run.
In 2005 while living in Ireland I began experiencing recurring injuries. I tried everything from physiotherapy to sports massage but nothing seemed to address the cause of the issue. It was after this that I read a newspaper article on Danny Dreyer and the revolutionary new running form Chi Running®. It described how Chi Running® prevents injuries and makes running more efficient. I began learning immediately and, over time, experienced incredible results.
I was so impressed with the benefits that I had experienced from Chi Running® that I wanted to be able to pass what I’d learnt onto other people. So in 2007 I studied to become an instructor in Ireland with Danny Dreyer, founder of Chi Running®, Catherina McKiernan multiple marathon winner and Master Instructor from America, Mary Lindahl.
Chi Running® has improved my performance because I am far more efficient with my running. My race times have dropped and my injuries are a thing of the past.
Chi Running® has allowed me to achieve good running times because I’m far more efficient with my energy. The power of good posture, alignment and a relaxed body is something that I have, not only when I exercise, but I incorporate it into my everyday life.
