Christine Fraser — Certified Instructor

Chris Fraser is a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), has a degree in Adaptive Fitness Therapy (A.F.T.) and works for Stanford University’s Health Improvement Program. She is a W.I.T.S. certified personal trainer (CPT) with specialties in cancer exercise and older adult fitness. Since 2011 she has been a volunteer in the Living Strong Living Well strength and fitness recovery program for cancer survivors sponsored by Stanford University and the YMCA. It is offered at no cost to participants.

“Danny’s Chi Running bumped into me at the library while browsing through the video section.  A few years earlier I had knee surgery to repair a torn ACL (a consequence of starting soccer in my 40’s). Running has always been my cardio exercise of choice.  I could still run thanks to a good surgeon but I was starting to wonder for how long.  I watched the video and was hooked. I have been practicing Chi Running and Chi Walking ever since.

“My goal to become a certified instructor happened while researching for my A.F.T. class presentation entitled Chi Walking, the perfect gateway activity to fitness recovery.”

Chris is available for group or individual instruction.
