Hello all…this is my first post.
I am confused a bit by diagram 32 on page 99 of the book as to what it’s saying should be done. The book never refers to the diagram #, so I’m not sure what it’s getting at. He seems almost straight upright (no lean) and there is no forward arrow indicating lean. So, i’m wondering how much back and forth of the waist to head (statue) is moving during walking. I’m just confused b/c it says "align your column with each step"...so I’m picturing bobbing back and forth from lean to align, lean to align, etc…
I didnt buy the movie b/c I bought the chirunning movie/book and found the book to be more helpful for me. *** DO YOU KNOW if Danny Dreyer has even a short film clip on the website of someone doing the walking? Or is there a place (i checked youtube) where I could see a short clip?
Part of the confusion, i think, is that in the female pictures in the "how to walk chapter 4" she has a pronounced (obvious) lean, but in Danny’s it’s really hard to even detect a lean in the pictures.
Thanks…and if your advice is buy the video, well I guess I’ll go ahead and do that.
Mike.
