Yes, Marcella that is me. I quit RV Master swim for a variety of reasons, nothing against the club. Injuries, my inability to get up at 5 am, paying 2$/day to use the YMCA, etc….
I have taken a break from running for the last 2 weeks and want another 2 weeks off. This Chi running style worked pretty well,except I overextend my hip flexors with the forward lean. Strained this area on the left. I plan to get back into running in two weeks so I can start training for Boston in 2008 (I qualified at Napa). I may do a couple other marathons before then and could use any support. In December, I went to San Diego and signed up for a group lesson for an hour. That being the coldest day of the year in San Diego, I had a 1:1 session with the instructor. Went pretty well untill 2 wks prior to the marathon when I either overtrained or was just trying to go too fast for what I’m good for.
I run with another guy on Wed’s and we definately don’t do anything fast except criticize current political situations, so beware! <!—s:oops:—>/images/smileys/embarrassed.gif<!—s:oops:—> Chris F. (phys. therapist), another RV master swimmer has expressed interest lately but I’ve not heard back from him yet. Thanks for the reply.
