Hi I’m not a instructor but I have had those issues in the past. For one thing I would ask if the PT was a Sport’s related PT? seems to me that the PT advised you to increase your running time too quickly 1 minute added every other day? Ah???? No that to me was too much ... maybe he /she meant every other week add one minute to the running time? I think you advanced your running too quickly.
I would suggest stop running for a few days and Rest until you don’t have any pain or issues in your legs, then this weekend. Start over walking and do and focus on your Chi focuses while walking that is if you can still walk with out any pain issues. then I would say Feb 1st start adding back some easy run’s doing the Chi Run/walk program. then time Don’t increase your running minutes too quickly should be 1 minute increase ever week (not every other day) Take it easy, don’t increase your running too quickly.
if you still have pain issues after you start back then I would suggest talking with your doctor on any underlying issues as the PT suggested sciatica? but lets hope not. Take care.
