I have found a nice running app for the Android (also it works for smartphones) that measures and let you know of the cadences that you are running. I have always thought that when I was using a metronome I was hitting 180/min. With this app I am far from doing that. I generally have 167-174/min. for “easy” runs. But when I pick up the pace, ie., intervals, I do hit 179-182. I know that you are supposed to keep the cadence consistent irregardless of speed but it does appear to increase “easily” at faster paces, which I am assuming is because at faster paces my knees are moving forward quicker. This is just an observation.
