while waiting for my Chi run/walk/Metronome comes in the mail… I’m kind of getting excited about getting started in finding my true cadence? I’m use to always going by pace speed that I see on my Garmin… so when I do my run/walks my over all pace per mile seems so slow like 12 or 13 min miles is there a way to translate that in Cadence?
I also have tried running and counting my right foot impact I count for 30 seconds and get a 40-45 count? does that mean I have a 80 to 85 cadence. will the metronome actually help my pace to be more uniform or smoother, faster…maybe? with out feeling like I’m having to run too fast to keep up with the beeps?
Do you start out with a number like 80 or 85 or do you start on the lower numbers and work up to 80-85 cadence?
Some how I feel like my slow pace is the reason I don’t have any grounded form of Cadence?
