Hi Charlene -
Good for you for teaching yourself to straighten your feet! How we move is usually based on modeling we got from our parents and family, so no surprise they all have turned out feet. When you straighten your feet, be sure you are aligning your WHOLE leg, not just your feet. And if you have been used to your feet/legs pointing out, it will feel like your knees are pointing in when you align the legs/feet properly. If this causes pain (especially in the inside of the knee and upper leg), back off a little - remember gradual progress. Keep working on the straight alignment - it will come over time.
And of course, it has been a while since you posted this, so this all may be a moot point. But I wanted to make sure you have those tips, especially if you gave up!
