Signing Up for ChiRunning School

Can I pay for more than one month at a time?

The only options for payment are paying for one month at a time or one year at a time. By choosing multiple quantities, you are signing up for multiple subscriptions, not multiple months. When you are signing up for ChiRunning School, make sure that the quantity in your cart is 1. If you do not, you will be charged for multiple subscriptions.

Why have I not recieved an email confirmation and/or login information yet?

You should receive an email confirmation at the email address that you inputed when signing up for ChiRunning School within an hour. If you do not recieve it during that time, please check your SPAM folder as some of our emails are incorrectedly sorted as SPAM. If you use a Gmail account, check your Promotions tab, as well. If you still cannot find it, please email customerservice@chiliving.com and we will assist you.

How do I cancel my ChiRunning School subscription?

If you no longer wish to participate in ChiRunning School, you can easily cancel your subscription by logging into the digital content site and going to your My Account page. On the left hand side, you should see a list of options. At the bottom, click the Cancel ChiRunning Subscription link. It will immediately process your cancellation, and you will not be charged for future months. Please note that, as soon as you cancel, you will lose complete access to ChiRunning School. If you wish to re-join ChiRunning School, you will start back at the beginning of the program.

What do I do if I have cancelled my ChiRunning School subscription, but now I want to re-join?

If you have canceled your ChiRunning School subscription and now wish to re-join, you will need to sign up again. You will begin the program back at the Welcome Lesson, not at the place you were when you canceled.

Why do I lose access to ChiRunning School when I cancel?

The way our software works, your permissions are revoked to the School as soon as you cancel. We do not have a way to allow you access to only the Lessons you recieved before you cancelled. We do offer the audio download companions that are yours to keep indefinitely.

Paying for ChiRunning School

Why do I need to put in my credit card or PayPal information?

Our system is set up so that any kind of transaction through our store requires credit card or PayPal account to process and give you access to ChiRunning School. Your card will not be charged during the 21-day free trial; so, if you cancel before that time, your card will not be charged at all.

I do not live in the United States, and I am concerned about receiving monthly credit card fees on my credit card. What can I do?

If you do not live in the United States and your credit card company charges you every time you do an overseas transaction, then you can opt to sign up for a year of ChiRunning School and only pay once. You can also use PayPal.

Can I get a refund if I decide to cancel?

We do not offer refunds once you have paid for a month or a year. Since you lose immediate access to ChiRunning School when you cancel, it is recommended that you cancel at the end of your pay cycle for a month to get the most out of what you have paid for that month.

Why am I being charged for multiple subscriptions?

If you are being charged for multiple subscriptions, it is because you signed up for multiple subscriptions (i.e. the quantity in your cart was more than 1). If this happens, please email customerservice@chiliving.com for assistance.

Logging into ChiRunning School

Where do I get my login information?

You will receive your login information in an email after you join ChiRunning School. It will include your username and password, along with further instructions. To view more detailed instructions about logging in, click here.

When I copy my password from the email into the password section of the login page, it says that my password is wrong. What do I do?

As noted in the email you received with your login information, we do not recommend copying-and-pasting your password from the email because our system places an unnecessary space after it, which gets picked up when it is copied. Since we have been unable to remove that space from the email, we suggest typing your password directly into the login page to avoid this error.

Even when I manually type my password in, I still can't log in. What do I do?

You might still be having issues logging because of bits of data stored on your internet browser called cookies. Below are links to articles for each of the main four browsers on how to delete your cookies. If you store passwords on your browser without writing them down, we suggest searching for the ones related to "cutomerhub". If you do not wish to delete any of your cookies, consider downloading one of the browsers listed below that you do not already have on your computer and try logging in using one of them.

If neither of those solutions work for you, the troubleshooting might be beyond us since our ability to offer tech support is limited. It might be a software or hardware issue, and we suggest contacting Microsoft or Apple support for further assistance.

How do I change my password once I have logged into the digital content site for the first time?

If you are logging into the digital content site for the first time and want to change your randomized password, you can do so by going to the My Accounts page, then clicking on the My Profile link on the left hand side. Once you've been taken to your profile, scroll down to the Login Information portion of the page. There you can set and confirm your new password.

How do I navigate ChiRunning School?

When will I get my first Lesson?

When you sign up for ChiRunning School, you will be sent an email which will link you to our Welcome page that contanins information about the School and a Welcome video. At the end of that Welcome video is your Welcome Lesson, which will get you started. Then, the Saturday after you sign up, you will recieve your first official Lesson.

How often will I get new Lessons?

New Lessons arrive in your inbox and on ChiRunning School's Lessons page every Saturday.

Can I download the video Lessons?

No, the video Lessons are only available to view on the digital content site. They cannot be downloaded. You can return to the Lessons page in the ChiRunning School to view any past lessons as many times as you wish, however.

Can I change the resolution of the video Lessons?

The video Lessons are hosted on a separate server and the system does not have the capability to change the resolution.

What do I do if the video does not play well?

If the video does not play smoothly, it is probably because of your internet speed. Let it buffer for a while before trying to view again.

Can I download the audio companions directly to my mobile device?

Our system does not support downloading directly to mobile devices, like phones or tablets. You will need to download the .mp3 file directly to a computer and then put it into a media library, like iTunes, to transfer it to your device.

How do I get to the ChiRunning School Forum?

You can access the ChiRunning School Forum here. The Forum is hosted on our main site, which requires a separate account from your digital content site/ChiRunning School account. If you do not already have an account for our main site, you can register for one here.
